"The house is a simple but elegant example of the style of the time with wide verandahs and French doors. The high ceilings were originally made from lathe and plaster and the doors and internal woodwork were cut from red cedar. It has always been a working property and successive owners have made gradual changes over the years while keeping the essence of the house alive."

A gracious and delightful old house with lots of nooks and crannies to play hide and seek in. Evenings on the verandah enjoying the sunset over peaceful fields … bliss.

I would love to live here at Parma Farm. It was the best holiday ever!

In the short time that we were here an immediate sense of relaxation came upon us. We'll be back!

Thanks for the privilege of being part of the Phelps family sojourn here at Parma Farm - a great place to spend with family and friends.

A magnificent house with every comfort and pleasure - more beauty than we had imagined. A memory for us all - a joy.

We have had the loveliest weekend - a milestone birthday, a multitude of kids, family and friends. Beautiful house, land, weather, atmosphere, gourmet delights - just one problem … having to leave. Fastastique!

Beautiful surrounds, beautiful place, great atmosphere.

I love Parma Farm. It is the best farm I have ever been to. I love collecting the eggs. It is so much fun! We come here every Easter.

A great 7 days. Walks, canoeing, touch footy and soccer on the lawn. The baby loved wandering the huge house. Loved staying in Parma House - hide and seek was great fun and loved the fires.

"As I watched horses in the paddock from the front porch of our farmstay cottage, I felt a whole lot further than two and a half hours from Sydney ... The cottage is ideal for young families, as it's fenced, so my wife and I could watch our two little boys playing outside as we relaxed with a glass of wine, a couple of good books and the crosswords."
Sunday Telegraph review 2003

"The quaint old farmhouse is one of four set high in private positions on historic Parma Farm ... with its three comfy bedrooms (a queen size and two twins),a living room with open fire(and double sofa bed) and large combined kitchen, dining and family room, Granny's Cottage is perfect for a young family."
The Australian Review 1998

The perfect weekend retreat for two or more people. Enjoyed the country life in style.

The space and grace that we hoped for. Thank you.

We're been all around the world since our last holiday here but nothing compares to Parma farm and the people here.

Thank you for the privacy and the 'five star' accommodation

Ideal in every way.

What a perfect location to relax in. The tranquillity and beauty of the place ensure that a person can only enjoy all that nature has to offer. Lovely bushwalks, kangaroos, wombats and bike rides - we'll be back.

The kids loved the chickens, horses and the dogs. Loved everything about the house. A great holiday.

The perfect place for much needed soul searching. Thank you for the personal space and look forward to many more weekends. Parma Farm has a wonderful energy - I will always cherish this place.

Lovely as usual. A beautiful place to bring overseas visitors.

"Arrival was bliss. There we were at The Dream House, a two storey mud brick house ringed with a flower garden glowing in the light spilling from the cottage. It had a fire in the grate, couches with plump cushions, magazines left about to encourage idleness, artworks - and vases fully of flowers. With its vaulted ceilings, polished floors and big cedar windows giving onto rural vistas, it has the feel of a ski lodge for the wealthy." I thought I'd died and gone to heaven! Beautiful place, tranquillity at last. What a great place to spend our summer holidays mornings spent down at the beaches at Jervis Bay and afternoons relaxing away from the crowds in the cool of the light nor-easterly breeze, Fantastic!

The atmosphere was truly inspirational! Fresh air, log fires, good food and the most beautiful mud brick cottage. Combine this with great company and life does not get much better! Thanks and we will return.

Lovely, tranquil home with beautiful surroundings, a great holiday place for everyone. Thank you for making our holiday one to remember.

Wonderful, warm and relaxing. It's like having your own house in the country. We loved it!

Good place for friends to write a book together, chat, drink coffee, visit the swimming hole, eat lots of yummy food, gaze off into beautiful distant views and dream about living here! Thank you and dream on!

Didn't want to leave! Will be back. Beautifully appointed - we were not wanting for anything which is so rare. Thank you.
